Position: Warehouse Associate

Status: Full Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Reports to: Director of Project Operations


The goal of this role is to ensure CBI Team provides an exceptional client experience by helping to prepare and wrap up prior and post installation process.  This is achieved by maintaining the CBI Warehouse area, assembling furniture pre-installation, assisting with moves and organization. 

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Keep CBI, spare parts, and shipping areas organized, tidy and free of pallets or products on the floor
  • Maintain inventory of CBI owned items that are used by contract labor companies and CBI installers; responsible for checking out items
  • Keep track of CBI owned e-crates including checking in and out and recording the number of crates rented out to customers
  • Keep CBI tools organized and tidy, and report issues as discovered
  • Assemble and dissemble furniture as needed for jobs and returns
  • Manage CBI returns procedure, including processing return paperwork and bringing returned materials to Inventory department in a timely manner (within 48 hours of return)
  • Distribute project paperwork in the morning, if needed, including maintaining proper signature sign offs and documentation.
  • Organize and dispose of cardboard and install related trash post-installation in a timely manner (24 hours preferable)
  • Pull and pack inventory for immediate need punch items or CBI projects
  • Assist installation team with various project related tasks, including picking up product, delivering punch items, making pre-install cuts, repairing damaged items, etc. 
  • CBI and Returns area to be kept organized with a high standard of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Additional tasks to support CBI projects, as directed by Senior Installation Lead.


  • High school diploma required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • The ability to work independently and follow a list of goals with little supervision
  • The ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to report to job on time and be dependable
  • Ability to stay on task and complete projects in full


  • Ability to assemble and dissemble furniture a plus

The employee will be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl up to 8 hours per work day. The employee will be occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, frequently lift objects up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects more than 100 pounds. The warehouse climate is subject to fluctuate with the outside temperature and may be subject to significant changes in heat and cold given the season
