We offer a competitive base salary of $60,000-$90,000 PLUS commission for this Sales Consultant / Account Executive / Outside Sales Representative position. You can expect to earn $100,000-$200,000 plus per year with base and commission, even in the first year. Commission for this position is uncapped. You would also be eligible for a strong benefits package including health, dental, life, a 401(k) plan, public holidays, plus 14 days of personal paid time off (PTO), one bonus day for your birthday or volunteer day, a 401(k) plan, and great company culture. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES CONSULTANT / ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

As a Sales Consultant / Account Executive / Outside Sales Representative, you are at the front lines of revenue generation for CBI Group. You are a Sales Executive in the Austin market area, working with clients to provide furniture solutions for their office spaces. You love interacting with people and establish a rapport and trust easily. Your excellent communication and leadership skills are also essential to your success, as you spend a lot of time in conversation with prospective clients and CBI Group team members that support you in this role.

Some of the key functions of this role are:

  • Holding client discovery meetings with C-Level executives to uncover their needs in regard to office furniture.
  • Working with our design team to produce furniture layouts and proposals that meet the client's needs in regard to office furniture.
  • Presenting furniture layouts and proposals to C Level executives in order to gain their confidence and close the transaction.
  • Working with our Design and Operations teams to ensure client satisfaction from initial consultation to final furniture installation throughout the project.
  • After-the-sale aftercare and follow up with the client.
  • Attending occasional industry events and networking to support our Business Development team in lead generation.

  • Listening skills to uncover a client's needs and emotions in regard to their project and make them feel heard and understood.
  • Ability to build and carry the confidence of the client in order for them to trust us and do business with us in a large transaction.
  • Leadership skills to internally lead our Design and Operations Teams through the project with the client.
  • Have sharp instincts in a high-pressure sales environment and ability to 'think on your feet.'
  • Tenacity and professionalism in communication and follow up.

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A SALES CONSULTANT / ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

  • 5 years of experience in B2B or outside sales
  • Experience managing multiple accounts exceeding $2 million annually
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office/Outlook
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, registration, and insurance
  • Ability to travel by car locally to meet clients daily
